Reunion Remade Vintage Womens 40s Feedsack Dress with Multi-Colored Buttons

Incredible 1940's handmade feedsack cotton dress with multicolored buttons and the prettiest silhouette. This piece is an excellent example of the "make do" ethos of the time. It was likely made during wartime when people often used left over feedsacks and found materials to construct their clothing. We added buttons that were missing (probably harvested by the original maker to finish another piece), mended small holes and resewed a number of seams that had degraded over time.
