Excellent example of early women's sportswear! These tan khaki cotton twill trousers feature ultra wide legs and functional buttons--giving the illusion of a skirt. These were quite popular from 1900 the 1920s and likely date from that era. They were made primarily for horseback riding and bicycleing. This pair features a cute side pocket and half belt at back. There are some very light marks that are well hidden by the pleats of the skirt and a tiny bit of fraying around the knee, but otherwise these seem almost unworn. Aside from all the wonderful historical value, they're just really flattering!
