My client had a very cool *but* incomplete denim jacket. She had seen a photo of an identical jacket with a buckleback, and wanted her's to have one too. We sourced the buckle and got to work! The whole goal of this repair was to make the new buckleback look like it had always been there. What that meant for me was lots of experimenting (fading, thread color etc) before actual construction.
